 Dear Friends and Family,

My team and I are doing very well and we're getting better adjusted to life here in India. This country is so strange. The people here do little things that just don't make any sense to me. For example, the people here like to dust the road outside their house. That may not seem like a bid deal, but when they dust they will actually pick up rocks on the side of the road, dust under them, and then place the rock back right where they find it. Another example would be that people don't mind throwing their trash on the street, but they will then sweep the trash into small piles all over the street. As if the say 'we don't having trash all around ,but we do want it to at least look neat'. It's been a very interesting learning experience. Right there is a festival going on to worship sarsati the hindu god of knowledge. So there is lots of loud music going on all day and all night. It's been hard to watch all the people who live in darkness here. My team is currently splint up. Jenny, my national partner Marina, and I travel to one village to train national believers four days a week and the other girls go to a different village to do the same. It's been a really cool experience in the village that Jenny and I have been working in. All the women that we have been working with have been so faithful to share the gospel. Some of the girls in the group we're teaching went to pray over a woman who has had eye problems for a very long time and the next day the woman was healed!!!! That woman is now a believer! It has been so amazing to see God work among these people. Please keep praying for endurance for us to finish the task. Pray for the ladies that I will with that the spirit would transform their lives into women who want to see their entire village change for God's glory. Keep praying for our national partners Abby and Marina as they do so much for us. And as alway please keep praying for my teams safety and health. The picture above is of the girls I work with in the village..
Sincerely ,
Emily Duke
