End of School Events

The time for the school year to end is quickly approaching, and we have several events to mark the passage of this time. Please mark your calendars for the events below:
May 10, 2pm
Senior Gowning
Come see the seniors receive their caps, gowns, and honor cords before their graduation in this special portion of the Junior High and High School Chapel on May 10.
May 15, 6pm
Spring Sports Reception
This is the awards ceremony for the spring sports: baseball, golf, track and field, etc.
May 17, 7pm
Spring Concert
The Spring concert is a chance for all of you to come see what the kids have been working on all year! It will include performances by the elementary music program, the junior high and high school choir, orchestra, and drama department. Students from the art classes will have some of their works on display, and you may even see some of the works that were recently submitted to a juried show at Blue Ridge Christian, where our student, Millie Sarsfield, received a medal for one of her digital artworks.
May 17, 7pm
K5 and 5th Grade Graduations
Towards the end of the concert, we will hold our elementary graduations. This will include presenting the kindergartners with diplomas as they move from K5 into the elementary and presenting with 5th graders with diplomas as they progress into junior high.

Retirement Reception
After the program concludes for the Spring Concert and Elementary Graduations, head down to the gym, where we will host a reception to celebrate the retirement of our principal, Mike McMillan!

Elementary Academic Awards Ceremony
We will be presenting the academic awards the morning of the last day of school in two special chapels. If you want to take your students home early after these ceremonies, you may sign them out in the lobby once they have turned in all textbooks and music and have cleaned out their desk.

We will be presenting the academic awards the morning of the last day of school in two special chapels. If you want to take your students home early after these ceremonies, you may sign them out in the lobby once they have turned in all textbooks and music and have cleaned out their locker.

Last Day of School -
Half-Day (Noon Dismissal)
If you do not wish to check your students out early after their awards ceremony, please remember that the last day of school is a half-day. You will need to make arrangements for your student to be picked up at noon or go to aftercare. Have a wonderful summer!
